Wool from Pashmina goats that are only found in the higher Himalayan altitudes.

The basic pashmina wool has been tie-dyed to create the beautiful motifs seen in the entire Himalayan belt.

Lined with green silk.

The piece has obviously been well used and there is discoloration on the back. The back can be easily replaced by the buyer.

Minor other flaws present.

May have belonged to a stylish Khampa.
