Sunstone is a translucent to transparent feldspar that has tiny mineral like inclusions in the stone that exhibit ‘aventurescence’- a flash of light produced by the stone. It makes this stone, which has a peach coloured appearance but ranges from colourless to red, orange and yellow, appear to have gold shimmer.
